People like….Kirstie Nairn
Kirstie is a new arrival on the Mid Coul Farm and is the farm administrator. She started in November 2009 having just got married in August to a local accountant. She moved up from Grimsby where she worked for 4 years in Admin for a double glazing company. She moved up here to be with the man of her dreams and to get some fresh Highland air.
She has settled in and enjoys the crack in the office with Tam, Willie and Brian. She enjoys the job but really enjoys the occasional bit of 'hands on' where she gets out of the office and gets to help with things like the lambs.
She is a member of the Salvation Army band having followed her parents' footsteps and enjoys playing cornet and trumpet.
As well as maintaining the local farm accounts and running the day to day of the office she does the inductions and paperwork for the foreign students who provide some of the summer seasonal help.
Kirstie enjoys the family atmosphere and working with friendly people although some translation is often required when the guys get going.
